The Journey Begins

I attend CSU Chico, but originally I grew up in Sunnyvale, CA. I am the eldest of 3 daughters. Both my parents are Filipino and my mother came from the Philippines while my father came from Hawaii. There are so many different family dynamics. Someone who grew up in a household with siblings can be so much different than someone who grew up as an only child. I grew up surrounded by my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents; our close family unit is something we take seriously and care a lot about. I find it interesting how much family can impact our lives.
